Land Rover is retiring the iconic Defender through a trio of final special editions announcing the model’s demise in December. The Heritage Edition is the first of the bunch and comes with a few visual cues reminiscent of classic Defenders such as the Grasmere Green paint, heritage grille and a white roof. It also comes with HUE 166 graphics as a connection to the registration plate of Land Rover’s first ever pre-production car which was nicknamed “Huey.” LR says this special edition will be built in a limited series of 400 units in 90 Hard Top, 90 Station Wagon, 110 Station Wagon body styles. Prices start at £27,800.
Up next is the Defender Autobiography Edition which adopts a more luxurious feel and wears a two-tone paint combined with a Windsor leather upholstery inside the cabin. This particular variant also comes with a power upgrade from 122 HP to 150 HP while the torque has also been bumped from 360 Nm to 400 Nm. This version can be had only as a 90 Station Wagon and will be offered in a limited quantity of 80 cars, each priced at £61,845.
Last but not least, the Land Rover Defender Adventure Edition can be distinguished by the additional underbody protection and Goodyear MT/R tires. It has unique body decals along with a leather-trimmed cabin and it’s available either as a 90 Station Wagon or as a 110 Station Wagon, with prices kicking off at £43,495.
