British luxury marque Land Rover has launched the Range Rover SVAutobiography which sits on top of the model’s range. The high-end SUV will cost £148,900 in United Kingdom and $199,495 in United States and for this serious chunk of change you will be getting the most luxurious Range Rover ever, developed by JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. It gets a Graphite Atlas / polished chrome front grille and a bespoke two-tone exterior paint scheme with a Santorini Black upper body that can be combined with nine different shades for the lower body.
A plethora of enhancements have been implemented in the high-end cabin which gets a luxurious wood trim, solid aluminum pedals as well as different switchgear made from solid aluminum and beautified with knurled details. Those sitting on the rear seats can enjoy a refrigerator as well as powered deployable tables while solid aluminum coat hooks are also available.
The Range Rover SVAutobiography can be optionally configured with an “Event Seating” package bringing two extra Windsor leather seats that can be installed onto the tailgate when it’s folded down. For more money, customers can add a sliding load floor with veneer wood and aluminum flooring.
In terms of power, Land Rover is offering a newly developed V8 5.0-liter supercharged engine with 550 PS (404 kW) and a peak torque of 501 lb-ft (680 Nm). It will allow the long wheelbase version sprint to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h). The Range Rover SVAutobiography will also be available with a SDV8 engine as well as a SDV6 Hybrid model.
