The aftermarket specialists at Startech have introduced their Land Rover Defender Sixty8. It’s based on the Defender 110 Station Wagon and comes with a Santorini Black roof and a Corris Grey Metallic body paint while up front it benefits from LED headlights. It has also gained a wide variety of other upgrades such as the tubular side steps, extended fender flares and an aluminum skid plate while the tinted rear windows are also part of the package. The off-roader is now riding on Monostar D 18-inch alloys wrapped around in BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T tires.
Stepping inside the cabin, the Land Rover Defender Sixty8 by Startech comes with alloy pedals, a sport steering wheel and heated front sport seats as well as an aluminum gear knob and stainless steel scuff plates. The tuner has also applied a lovely Tan Light Brown / Ebony Black premium leather upholstery with diamond quilting and for entertainment there’s an Alpine infotainment system with support for GPS and a rearview camera.
Under the hood resides a turbodiesel 2.2-liter engine with 122 PS and 360 Nm mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and a permanent AWD. It runs the 0-100 km/h sprint in 15.8 seconds and tops out at 145 km/h.
Startech is making only 68 units and they are asking €67,990 for the 5-seat model whereas the 7-seater will set you back €69,900.
